From My Mom's Garden....

Mukah ooo Mukah....
Tetiba ingin nok gi Mukah. Selepas breakfast @ Lesung Cafe, kami memecut ke Mukah dan bertekad untuk mencuba jalan pintas dari simpang WTK tanpa perlu melalui "Buffalo Highway" [jln ladang] untuk pertama kalinya. Cuma dengan berpandukan peta yg ada, kami rasa tidak sabar untuk menjelajah jalan baru tersebut. Sampai saja di simpang WTK, kami telah "setkan" meter untuk confirmkan kejauhannya. Jalannya jauh lebih bagus dari "Buffalo Highway", less traffic, dalam 33 km saja dari simpang tersebut ke simpang Balingian yg memakan masa cuma 1 jam perjalanan, if compared to more than 2 hrs using the hell route.
Alhamdulillah, kami tiba di Pekan Mukah dengan selamat. My mom was surprised to see us as we did not informed her on the trip. We have to go back the following day as my daughter is having tuition on Sunday although we still "belalak" to stay back. We went back using thedifferent route i.e. alternatif B which is from junction "Batu Katak", shorter by 2 km compared to former route.
We intend to come back to 2 weeks time for the Pesta Kaul, Insyallah.

Alhamdulillah, kami tiba di Pekan Mukah dengan selamat. My mom was surprised to see us as we did not informed her on the trip. We have to go back the following day as my daughter is having tuition on Sunday although we still "belalak" to stay back. Kehilangan..............
I met her in the lift on the way up to level 6, 2 yrs back. It was her 1st day reporting for duty and she looked lost. Her name was familiar to me however I never met her before. She looks friendly and I smiled back to her. When somebody introduced her to me then only I recalled, she was the one I met in the lift and happen to be our new staff from SKO. Her name is SARA LASA.
After knowing her for days, surprisingly we can get along very well, maybe she is of same age with me... We shared knowledge and stories. We go for "tapau" together, makan together and even to washroom pun together.
Yesterday, 31/3/10 was her last day in Bintulu. Before she drove to Miri that evening, we managed to take few shots for our album. The sad moment came when she hugged us one by one but she tried her best to hide the sadness although I could see tears in her eyes. For memories, she gave us 1 each of pass holder handmade by her from beads. I will treasure that forever.
This morning on 1st April 2010, I felt the office was so empty without her. Morever, her workstation was just next to me. Whenever I passed by the area, I wished she was there. Few hours later, received her mails from Miri saying that she was also "lost" overthere, the memories still lingering in her mind. It was a mixed feeling that she have to face.... being happy with her family and sad to be away from friends .... Well, it's part of life, we have to accept it. Hopefully, she will gradually settle down in her "new" environment.... same goes to me....SAYONARA to you my dear friend and wish you all the best in your future undertaking... I'm sure will gonna bump into you one day in Miri.... Insyallah..

Farewell Dinner for the Outgoings
[....mata x dpt tido, perut terlalu kenyang after dinner... so decided to jot down few lines]
Dinner was organised by Finance & Planning Department for Mdm. Sara Lasa, who will be transferred back to SKO, Miri, Hapsah & Singa lateral transfer to SCM whilst Luqman & Micheal will be leaving ABF, being affected by the staff optimisation wave [contract not extended]. It was held at New World Hotel, Bintulu @ Room 3, Level 5, 29 March, 2010, 7:30pm.
The food served was delicious started with the appetizer and ended up with desserts.
It was sad indeed having to see them leaving. Being together with them for years, it was really hard to bid them farewell. The organiser tried their best not to make the nite so dull by organising few games just to brighten up the 'mood'.
Then there goes the remarks/speeches given by individuals followed by our SM. Photos were taken along the way. Tokens of rememberance were given away by Pn. Sara & Tn. Sayed.
Before we dispersed, we managed to take group photos for the album.
